The Admissions Process

The moment you contact J House Recovery Center, you are taking steps to change your life. The admissions process is really very simple at J House. Reaching out for help can easily feel overwhelming, especially when you are in the throes of active drug and alcohol addiction.
At J House Recovery, we understand that when an individual gets to the point that they are willing to reach out and ask for help that he needs to talk to someone who can direct them towards the necessary steps towards getting into rehab and what the process will be as quickly and as smoothly as possible. The J House admissions team is staffed with registered and certified professionals to help guide you through the admissions process and answer any questions you may have.

Step 1: Contact Us

An admissions counselor will work with you over the phone or via email to complete any preadmissions assessments necessary to determine the appropriate level of care needed to get the best possible treatment outcome. The counselor will conduct a pre admissions assessment which takes anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, questions consist of medical history, drug use history, patterns of substance use, drug of choices etc. They will ask about any mental health diagnoses or issues such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, things of that nature.

Step 2: Verify Insurance Benefits and Cost of Treatment

Once it has been determined what program will fit you best- the admissions counselor will collect any insurance information (during the initial phone assessment), and quickly verify your coverage and insurance benefits. They will walk you through what your out of pocket costs and payment options will be. All information you submit is 100% confidential.

Step 3: Travel Arrangements and Arrival

Your Admissions Counselor stays in contact with you and your loved ones throughout this entire process to ensure that your admission and admissions preparation runs as smoothly as possible. Upon your arrival, your Admissions Counselor will greet you and will walk you through beginning to end of the intake process.

Luckily at J House, we offer affordable treatment options that can allow you or your loved one to get the help they need without the fear of the price. There are a few different ways to cover the cost of treatment, including if you have health insurance benefits.

Using Insurance for J House

When you need help figuring out if your insurance policy covers addiction treatment, contacting your health insurance provider is always a good idea. Health Insurance plans vary in what they will and won’t cover at treatment facilities. The amount of coverage and the amount that you may pay out of pocket depends on many different factors.

Insurance policies can be confusing. Eliminate the guesswork by contacting your insurance provider or you can even contact J House and we can check the covered benefits for you. J House accepts many insurance major insurance policies as in-network, meaning higher coverage and lower out of pocket expenses for the individual seeking treatment.
